A Journey Into the Heart of Yoga.
This isn’t just about getting certified to teach Yoga, it’s about living Yoga. It’s about remembering who you truly are beneath the noise, the labels and the distractions. This training is a journey inward into presence, into practice and into your own radiant Truth.
Rooted in the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga, this immersive experience will guide you through the foundations of Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork), Meditation, Anatomy, History, Philosophy and the art of teaching. But more than techniques or poses, you will explore Yoga as a path of transformation, a way of being that touches every part of your life.
You will be supported, challenged and inspired to step into your power with authenticity and purpose. Whether you feel called to teach or simply to deepen your connection to Self, this training is a sacred container for growth, awakening and embodiment.

The word ‘Hatha’ can be translated as ‘sun’ (ha) and ‘moon’ (tha), symbolizing the union of opposites, effort, ease, strength and surrender.
In this training, Hatha Yoga is your foundation. It is a traditional yet accessible style that focuses on alignment, breath and intentional movement. Hatha Yoga provides the structure and depth needed to understand the body-mind connection, making it an ideal base for anyone beginning their journey as a yoga teacher. It’s not just about learning to teach yoga, it’s about embodying the practice from the inside out.
This is more than a training. This is a sacred journey inward.
A Journey Into the Heart of Yoga is an 8-month experience designed to guide you into the deeper layers of yourself and the True essence of Yoga.
Rooted in the tradition of Hatha Yoga, this training weaves together movement, breathwork, meditation, yogic philosophy and energy work to support deep transformation and embodied understanding. You will not only learn how to teach yoga, you will learn how to live it.
Meeting one weekend a month, the rhythm of this training allows space for reflection and integration, supporting sustainable growth and inner awakening. Each gathering is a portal and an invitation to return home to yourself.
Held in a heart-centered, supportive community, this is a call to those ready to walk the path of yoga, not just as teachers, but as devoted students of the Soul.
This training is a rich, holistic journey that goes far beyond poses. You will be guided through the foundations of yoga through movement, breath and meditation while also diving deep into anatomy, philosophy, energetic awareness and the art of teaching. We take a well-rounded approach, blending ancient wisdom with modern science and practical tools to support your growth as both a student and teacher. With an emphasis on embodiment, inclusivity and integration, this program is designed to empower you with the knowledge, confidence and heart to share yoga authentically.
The homework component of this training is intentionally in-depth and designed to support true integration. As part of your certification, you’ll be required to complete readings from two core texts,
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali &
The Bhagavad Gita,
submit written reflections and essays, and complete all assigned coursework before graduation.
To deepen your personal practice, you will be required to attend 20 yoga classes at The Yoga Dome (a 20-class pass is included in your training price).
Outside of our monthly weekends, you will explore self-reflection questions, journal your experience, study key concepts at home, watch supporting videos and engage in practice teaching.
As part of your training hours and mentorship journey, you will also be required to attend, assist with setup, organization and cleanup at one of The Yoga Dome’s special events. This experience is more than service, it will be an opportunity to step into leadership, contribute to our sacred space and feel what it’s like to hold space for others in community.
This is not busywork. This is the heart of Svadhyaya, the yogic practice of self-study. Through this process of reflection, responsibility and showing up in service, you begin to truly embody the path of yoga.
All additional required reading materials must be purchased at your own cost and brought with you for our first training weekend. These texts provide essential teachings that complement and expand upon what’s included in your manual.
This training is guided through a trauma-informed lens and rooted in trauma-sensitive principles.
We recognize that each person carries a unique story and that healing, learning and transformation happen most deeply in environments of safety, respect and trust.
Throughout this training, we prioritize:
Our approach is not clinical therapy, but rather a compassionate framework that encourages inner listening, self-trust and autonomy-both on and off the mat. Whether you are here for personal growth or to become a yoga teacher, you will be held in a space that supports embodied safety, emotional intelligence and the freedom to move at your own pace. This trauma-informed foundation is woven throughout every aspect of our program-from how we cue movement and breath, to how we hold space in group settings.
At The Yoga Dome, we are committed to leading with integrity, humility and compassion. We create a space that is inclusive, respectful and rooted in the values of equity, accessibility and shared humanity.
We don't claim perfection or spiritual superiority and our role is to walk alongside you, holding space for growth, self-inquiry and transformation. We honour the depth of the yogic tradition while making it relevant, embodied and accessible.
This training is an act of service, and our promise is to guide you with honesty, heart and a deep respect for who you are and the teacher you're becoming.
Our support doesn't end when the training does and you will continue to be supported in an ongoing community of mentorship, connection and continued growth.
We looking forward to this journey with you!
Enrolling in this training is a commitment to your personal growth, your practice and the collective energy of the group.
You are expected to show up fully and to attend all training weekends, complete homework assignments, engage in self-study and participate in practice teaching. This program asks for your presence, your curiosity and your willingness to be both challenged and supported. Transformation doesn't happen overnight; it unfolds through dedication, reflection and consistent effort. By committing to this journey, you are saying yes to showing up not only for yourself, but for the teachings, your fellow trainees and the future students you may one day guide.
Upon successful completion of all training requirements which include all required in-person training hours, homework assignments, personal study, a full-day retreat mentorship in the Dome (9AM–5PM), a 60-minute themed Hatha Yoga class taught during your final weekend practicum, a Karma class offered to friends and family and ongoing practice teaching throughout the course, you will receive a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from The Yoga Dome on our final training date.
This certification meets the standards set by Yoga Alliance and qualifies you to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), recognized internationally.
More than just a certificate, this marks your dedication to the path of yoga.
Over eight transformative months, you will have lived, practiced and embodied the teachings of yoga. This is not just the completion of a training, it is the beginning of your path as a teacher. You will emerge charged, with the tools, wisdom and inspiration to confidently share this practice with others, or to continue your own journey inward. Both are a reflection of the sacred path into the heart of yoga.
We understand that this training is a meaningful investment, and we are here to support you through it. The total cost of the program is $3,495.00 + HST. Payment plans are available upon acceptance into the training to help make the experience more accessible.

“I recently completed my Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Dome, and it was truly a life-changing experience. The space itself is peaceful and grounding, but it's the teacher, Ashley, who makes it exceptional. Her depth of knowledge, compassion, and genuine care created an environment where I felt supported, challenged, and inspired every step of the way.
The program was thoughtfully structured, blending philosophy, anatomy, practice, and personal growth in a way that felt both accessible and transformative.
I left each session feeling more confident in my abilities and more connected to myself. I finished the program feeling confident, prepared, and inspired to begin my teaching journey.
If you are considering Yoga Teacher Training, I cannot recommend The Yoga Dome enough! It truly is a beautiful community and a place where real growth happens.“

“My journey with The Yoga Dome began with a day retreat that deeply resonated with me, and evolved into 1:1 work with Ashley, along with classes in breathwork, yoga nidra, and somatic practices. Ashley is a truly gifted teacher, guide, and space holder. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely supported in my journey of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.
I felt called to join her 200-hour teacher training program, and it has been one of the most meaningful and transformational experiences of my life. The training both challenged and inspired me in the best ways, opening the door to deeper personal and spiritual growth. Ashley and the Dome seem to attract the most beautiful humans, and I feel incredibly grateful for the group of people I had the pleasure of sharing this experience with.
Ashley, this community and practice have become such an important and supportive part of my life that I'll be returning to continue learning, building on my yoga practice, teaching, and studies. I truly believe this path will continue to be transformational. I'm especially excited to add Nidra to my training, and to plan a mindful adventure retreat as part of my journey in 2026/2027.
I'm deeply grateful for Ashley, The Yoga Dome, and this beautiful community.“

“Complete Life Transformation
I began my journey at the Yoga Dome two years ago while searching for healing after experiencing trauma. My first experience was a sound bath with Ashley, and I truly felt something shift within me. Even after just one session, I experienced a deep sense of healing that kept me coming back month after month for nearly a year.
About a year later, I saw that Ashley was offering a Yoga Teacher Training program, and I instantly knew it was something I needed to be part of. What I didn't realize at the time was just how profoundly it would change my life.
From the moment I first sat in the dome, I felt a sense of community, love, and acceptance. It was clear that this was a space where I could truly grow. I entered the program feeling cynical, negative, and deeply disconnected-searching for something to shift my life.
And it did, in every possible way.
Over the course of eight months, I watched myself transform. I began to shed the identity I had built around my roles-my career, being a mother, being a wife-and started reconnecting with who I truly am at my core. Ashley created a space where I could explore that safely and fully. Through her teachings, yoga philosophy, and meaningful conversations, I came to understand that our true selves are always within us—we just need the space to let them emerge.
This program helped me break down limiting beliefs and patterns I had carried for years. I reconnected with a version of myself that sees beauty in everyday life, that leads with compassion-for others and for myself. I no longer see life as something to simply survive or get through. I now feel excited to live it fully, to embrace joy, passion, and presence.
This experience has completely changed how I show up—not only for myself, but as a mother, in my work, and in my relationships. It has given me what feels like a fresh start, a new way of living rooted in mindfulness, love, and freedom.
I am so excited to share this practice with others and to make a difference in people's lives the way it has in mine. I truly believe Ashley has a gift for holding space and guiding others back to themselves. Yoga is the foundation, but the teacher is what shapes the experience-and there is no one like her.
If you are considering a life-changing experience, this is it. It will stay with you, and you will thank yourself for years to come.“

“A Life-Changing Journey at The Yoga Dome (2025-2026).
Taking the 200-hour Teacher Training at The Yoga Dome was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I have made for my personal and professional growth. This program is far more than just learning how to instruct poses; it is a profound, holistic journey into the heart of yoga.
Atmosphere & Space: The Yoga Dome provides a unique, serene atmosphere that allows you to immediately detach from the busyness of daily life and fully immerse yourself in study. The cozy, welcoming environment acts like a sanctuary.
Curriculum & Depth: The curriculum is rich and trauma-informed, offering a wonderful balance between intense functional anatomy, deep philosophy (yoga sutras), and practical teaching skills. I left feeling empowered to teach, rather than just certified.
Mentorship & Community: Ashley Martin is a passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the growth of every trainee. She fostered a loving, supportive, and
non-judgmental community where I felt safe to face my fears and develop my authentic voice.
Comprehensive Approach: Whether you are doing this to become a teacher or to deepen your own practice, this training offers invaluable tools for lifeteaching you to regulate your nervous system and build resilience.
I cannot recommend this program enough for anyone in the 2026/2027 cycle looking to deepen their practice, learn the art of teaching, or simply reconnect with themselves.“

“This is a special place, I have been practicing at the dome for about three years tomorrow to graduate their first 200 hour yoga teacher training,
The yoga dome and this course is not only as advertised but you can find so much more,
Truly a blessing, I am very grateful for this place.
Ashley is an absolute gem of a human being, so knowledgeable, very well spoken, and made me personally feel so very welcome in this space, imagine being the only guy walking into a room full of women and having a big part of the course to look with in and be open and vulnerable about what I was feeling, well I wasn’t wired to be that way and it freaked me out a bit but Ashley made it fully possible for me to sit among an absolutely incredible group of women and do just that, thank you so so much to all involved in this course but most of all thank you to you Ashley, this is a truly life changing experience!!!“
