A Journey Into the Heart of Yoga.
This isn’t just about getting certified to teach Yoga — it’s about living Yoga. It’s about remembering who you truly are beneath the noise, the labels and the distractions. This training is a journey inward — into presence, into practice and into your own radiant Truth.
Rooted in the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga, this immersive experience will guide you through the foundations of Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork), Meditation, Anatomy, History, Philosophy and the art of teaching. But more than techniques or poses, you will explore Yoga as a path of transformation, a way of being that touches every part of your life.
You will be supported, challenged and inspired to step into your power with authenticity and purpose. Whether you feel called to teach or simply to deepen your connection to Self, this training is a sacred container for growth, awakening and embodiment.
Come as you are. Leave as who you were always meant to be.

Students are also required to attend a monthly live online session for continued learning, mentorship and community support. As part of our mentorship program—and to fulfill required training hours—each student will participate in one full-day retreat at The Yoga Dome, assisting with setup, teardown and observation (all dates to be arranged in consultation with lead trainer Ashley Martin). Additionally, students must attend 20 yoga classes with Ashley at The Yoga Dome over the 8-month duration of the program. (20-class Yoga Dome Pass included with the purchase of this training).
The word ‘Hatha’ can be translated as ‘sun’ (ha) and ‘moon’ (tha), symbolizing the union of opposites, effort, ease, strength and surrender.
In this training, Hatha Yoga is your foundation. It is a traditional yet accessible style that focuses on alignment, breath and intentional movement. Hatha Yoga provides the structure and depth needed to understand the body-mind connection, making it an ideal base for anyone beginning their journey as a yoga teacher. It’s not just about learning to teach yoga, it’s about embodying the practice from the inside out.
This is more than a training—it’s a sacred journey inward.
A Journey Into the Heart of Yoga is an 8-month experience designed to guide you into the deeper layers of yourself and the True essence of Yoga.
Rooted in the tradition of Hatha Yoga, this training weaves together movement, breathwork, meditation, yogic philosophy and energy work to support deep transformation and embodied understanding. You will not only learn how to teach yoga, you will learn how to live it.
Meeting one weekend a month, the rhythm of this training allows space for reflection and integration, supporting sustainable growth and inner awakening. Each gathering is a portal and an invitation to return home to yourself.
Held in a heart-centered, supportive community, this is a call to those ready to walk the path of yoga, not just as teachers, but as devoted students of the Soul.
This training is a rich, holistic journey that goes far beyond poses. You will be guided through the foundations of yoga through movement, breath and meditation while also diving deep into anatomy, philosophy, energetic awareness and the art of teaching. We take a well-rounded approach, blending ancient wisdom with modern science and practical tools to support your growth as both a student and teacher. With an emphasis on embodiment, inclusivity and integration, this program is designed to empower you with the knowledge, confidence and heart to share yoga authentically.
The homework component of this training is intentionally in-depth and designed to support true integration. As part of your certification, you’ll be required to complete readings from two core texts,
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali &
The Bhagavad Gita,
submit written reflections and essays, and complete all assigned coursework before graduation.
To deepen your personal practice, you will be required to attend 20 yoga classes at The Yoga Dome (a 20-class pass is included in your training price).
Outside of our monthly weekends, you will explore self-reflection questions, journal your experience, study key concepts at home, watch supporting videos and engage in practice teaching.
As part of your training hours and mentorship journey, you will also be required to attend, assist with setup, organization and cleanup at one of The Yoga Dome’s special events. This experience is more than service, it will be an opportunity to step into leadership, contribute to our sacred space and feel what it’s like to hold space for others in community.
This is not busywork—it’s the heart of Svadhyaya, the yogic practice of self-study. Through this process of reflection, responsibility and showing up in service, you begin to truly embody the path of yoga.
All additional required reading materials must be purchased at your own cost and brought with you for our first training weekend. These texts provide essential teachings that complement and expand upon what’s included in your manual.
This training is guided through a trauma-informed lens and rooted in trauma-sensitive principles.
We recognize that each person carries a unique story and that healing, learning and transformation happen most deeply in environments of safety, respect and trust.
Throughout this training, we prioritize:
Our approach is not clinical therapy, but rather a compassionate framework that encourages inner listening, self-trust and autonomy-both on and off the mat. Whether you are here for personal growth or to become a yoga teacher, you will be held in a space that supports embodied safety, emotional intelligence and the freedom to move at your own pace. This trauma-informed foundation is woven throughout every aspect of our program-from how we cue movement and breath, to how we hold space in group settings.
At The Yoga Dome, we are committed to leading with integrity, humility and compassion. We create a space that is inclusive, respectful and rooted in the values of equity, accessibility and shared humanity.
We don't claim perfection or spiritual superiority and our role is to walk alongside you, holding space for growth, self-inquiry and transformation. We honour the depth of the yogic tradition while making it relevant, embodied and accessible.
This training is an act of service, and our promise is to guide you with honesty, heart and a deep respect for who you are and the teacher you're becoming.
Our support doesn't end when the training does and you will continue to be supported in an ongoing community of mentorship, connection and continued growth.
We looking forward to this journey with you!
Enrolling in this training is a commitment to your personal growth, your practice and the collective energy of the group.
You are expected to show up fully and to attend all training weekends, complete homework assignments, engage in self-study and participate in practice teaching. This program asks for your presence, your curiosity and your willingness to be both challenged and supported. By committing to this journey, you are saying yes to showing up not only for yourself, but for the teachings, your fellow trainees and the future students you may one day guide.
