Ashley Michelle’s yoga journey is a powerful testament to her dedication and passion for personal growth, healing, and sharing the transformative practice of yoga with others.
With over 1200 hours of training and certifications in various styles such as Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Chair Yoga, SUP Yoga, Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®, Somatic Healing, and Trauma-Informed Training, Ashley’s expertise spans multiple disciplines. She has also completed 100+ hours in Meditation training, which further deepens her approach to guiding individuals on their journeys of self-discovery.
Ashley’s practice began over a decade ago, and she firmly believes that yoga has completely transformed her life. Her teaching career took off after completing her first teacher training in 2018, and since then, she has been sharing her knowledge across the Niagara Region. In 2020, Ashley took her passion further by leading her first yoga retreat in Costa Rica, and although the pandemic shifted her path, she and her partner Eric Martin created a safe space for yoga by hosting outdoor classes in their yard. Later that year, they began building The Yoga Dome Project, a dream that has continued to evolve.
2023 has been a milestone year for Ashley as she launched the Spiritual Woo Podcast, became a certified travel agent once again, and began planning a series of global Yoga & Meditation retreats.
Ashley’s teaching philosophy is rooted in compassion, personal growth, and connection. She openly shares her sober journey and promotes a non-judgmental space for others to explore their own healing. Whether you’re seeking guidance, encouragement, or simply a space to reconnect with yourself, Ashley invites you to join her in this beautifully chaotic journey of life, where yoga and meditation provide the foundation for finding balance, peace, and profound transformation.
“Come connect with me. If you’re struggling, craving change, needing guidance or a little encouragement and support for life. I’ve got you!" — Ashley Michelle Martin
Blueraven, Is a modern mystic. Starting her transformative journey in her early twenties when introduced to Reiki, herbal healing & spiritual traditions from around the world, at a time in her life when she was questioning, that there had to be more to life. And there was….
Working at a rock n roll hair salon in the early 90s, she got to meet her favourite rock stars, like Guns & Roses, & Kiss. From there she went on to style hair at an Organic Spa & hair salon in Yorkville, where she was introduced to Holistic medicine.
This sparked an interest and she decided to enroll in the Natural Healthcare Practitioner program at Transformational Arts College in 2001. It was there where she fell in love with Sound, Colour, & Vibrational therapy. She went on to teach and perform at health shows in Canada & US.
While practicing Women’s frame drumming at a Native Canadian Centre in Toronto, she was taught that First Nations Women started drumming in the 90’s to reclaim their voices through the power of the drum! This was a pivotal point for her ; in finding her own voice and she went on to form an all-Goddess troupe; The Blueraven Drummers, Chanters & Dancers, in 2010. Their music celebrates world culture, connecting and all humanity through the heartbeat of the drum.
Blueraven, is also a drum circle facilitator for all ages, & abilities, having worked in women’s shelters with youth and community centers. For people with special needs, retirement homes, schools, summer camps and corporate events.
Having danced her whole life, she came across Bellydance at a time when she struggled with body-self-care. Having to fit into a perfect size for conventional dance didn’t suit her free spirit. Her first Bellydance teacher was a curvaceous & powerful Spirit. And dance were fused into one! Blueraven, studied with Arabesque and went on to perform with professional Bellydance troupe, Vivace, in the Contemporary Bellydance show Inanna. She has choreographed for Rose theatre and has taught dance in Ontario, since 2013.
At a friend’s request to fill in spots for Nuit Blanches festival, she performed in the Guinness World Record for the longest Burlesque dance event in 2014. It was the most spiritual experiences of dance she has had to this date. Dance to her is more than just steps, its about energy and transference between dancer and audience.
Having a curiosity for all things art, she studied at Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, working with masters taught her how to work through blocks and develop patience! She went on to sell her art pieces in galleries around Ontario. Her love for Nature comes out in her Faery doors, crowns, masks & fantasy paintings.
Blueraven, entered college again in 2018 at 50yrs young, to study Horticulture at Niagara College. Being a wild child of nature, she could see the changes in the forests and wanted to help future generations. Challenged with learning differently throughout high school and having the mindset that academics wasn’t her thing. She got the support she needed and went from having average marks to ending with honours. Her love for wildflowers & restorative permaculture can bee seen throughout Niagara.
Her dream now is combining all her knowledge in an inspiring setting. Where Nature & Art meet. A place where people can see the beauty in all things. “I have always felt that nature is my home and when we care about something, we want to take to care of it. Art has helped me through, mental, physical & spiritual challenges many times. And it is said that when you would go to a Shamanic medicine person for healing, they would ask you, when did you stop dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories & feel comforted by sweet silence?
I’m here to have fun on this Earth-walk and I hope you’ll join me.
With good mind & heart – Om Shanti Natalie Blueraven”
